An example list of the Operations/Missions available for completion.

Operations are actions that players can use when they have completed specific missions upon Arrakis. They are useful for players as they give a competitive advantage dependent on the style of play. They are activated through the Espionage window.

Missions[edit | edit source]

Players must first complete the accompanying mission before they are able to use the operation. To do this, they must enter the espionage tab, they will find a list of missions in the right-hand side of the screen. Each mission requires a specific resource to complete and is ranked from Easy — Epic. Below is a complete list of missions and their requirements for completion:

Probe Setup Grants players vision of a selectable region on Arrakis and highlights the points of interest in this region. Additionally, it shows the production of villages by other factions. Easy 50 Intel
Poison the Reserves Increases the Supply drain and prevents the health regeneration of opponents within battle when selected. Easy 100 Intel
Gear Sabotage When selected, this reduces the power of enemy troops and unique units within a particular region. Easy 100 Intel

L1 Arrakis

Supply Drop When selected, this operation gives supply and health regeneration to allied troops within a particular region. Easy 100 Intel

L1 Spacing Guild

Ghost Market When activated, this gives players fraction of the target region's production of resources; this amounts to 50% of Solari, 50% Spice, and 50% of Plascrete. Normal 200 Intel

Combat Drugs When activated, allied units in combat will lose health each second, but cannot be killed by other troops. This is particularly advantageous against powerful enemies, or when attacking capital buildings. Normal 100 Intel

Cease Fire This interrupts and prevents battles within a target region for a period of 2 days. Normal
Defense Sabotage Use of this operation reduces power and increases the damage received at the main base of the target faction. A 50% boost in damage is awarded whilst a -50% power reduction at the target base is activated. Medium
Crowd Manipulation This operation incites a rebellion within a village and is therefore targeted at individual villages. Medium
Interdiction Zone Activating this in a region disrupts infrastructure and prevents shuttle use for a period of 2 days. Furthermore, it stops carryall traffic within a region and means that spice harvester's cannot be deployed or recalled. Medium
Atomics The atomics operation is a serious operation and fires a factions atomics at a specified region. This damages all units and villages but reduces the players standing within the Landsraad by 200; atomics are banned for use in battle by the Landsraad, hence why players are negatively affected via the use of this operation. Hard
CHOAM Shares This operation allows players to buy shares in CHOAM; this increases Hegemony by 500 points. Epic
Political Audit This operation increases the Landsraad standing of a player by 30. Epic 50 Intel

Faction Specific Missions[edit | edit source]

There are four missions available at the end of the mission list; each is a faction-specific mission which contributes to the assassination of one of the faction leaders and is thus used when a player wishes to win the game via domination.
