Staban Tuek is a political mastermind and the son of Esmar Tuek; he is particularly knowledgable on matters in the Landsraad. Staban uses the wealth accumulated through smuggling operations to influence those within the Landsraad and is therefore advantageous to players seeking influence within the political landscape of Arrakis.

Staban is Esmar Tuek's son and, just like his father, a renowned smuggler of various goods on Arrakis, most notably Spice Melange. Like many of his people he thrives in a harsh environment while routinely defying the highest authorities. He is a proud man who doesn't abide by anybody's rules by his own.

Staban is particularly advantageous as a councillor to those players who wish to construct Underworld Headquarters. Selecting Staban as a councillor will mean that each Underworld Headquarters produce +5 Solari per adjacent region containing an Underworld Headquarters, whilst also giving a boost of +0.5 influence per Underworld Headquarter.
