The Heavy weapon squad is a squad of three heavily armed troops available to players of House Atreides. These troops are armed with large blasters making them an excellent choice for players to take into battle.

The Heavy weapon squad is a powerful unit that players should consider using alongside other units. Given their large blasters, dealing damage to an enemy will apply the "Disrupted" trait, which will deal +2% damage to enemies up to a maximum of 10 units.
Given the size of their weapons, however, they are relatively slow units and therefore it is advised to use them in conjunction with other, more agile units such as the Trooper. It would not be wise to use them solely in conjunction with the Ranger since both units fire from a distance.
