The Ranger is a powerful, long distance unit under the command of House Atreides. They are one of the three most powerful Atreides unique units and the only long-distance unit available to Atreides players.

The Ranger is a particularly powerful unit available to those playing as House Atreides. They have a strong attack statistic at 16 points, but do suffer with a lower defence and health statistic. Given their large guns, they are particularly advantageous as they can attack units that are in combat with other units without directly coming into contact with the units themselves.
Given this, they are particularly useful when used in conjunction with other units, such as the Trooper, or the Warden. It is not advised that a player use all of their available unit slots to fill with Rangers. One advantage of the Ranger is that ally units attacking the same target as the Ranger will gain a +5% power boost.
