Guild Favor is an expensive resource that allows players of any faction — except the Fremen — to trade favor with the Spacing Guild. These favors come in many different forms, buit building Guild Favor is the only way that a player may deploy spacecraft on Arrakis.

Guild Favor is an expensive, but necessary resource on Arrakis, and is almost certainly one players will be benefited by consuming. This will allow players to operate spacecraft on Arrakis due to the Guild's monopoly on space-time travel. There are numerous ways to build Guild Favor:
- Enacting spies in Spacing will give a small trickle of Guild Favor;
- Once a player builds the Spacing Guild Branch, you will be able to complete an event which will gain you Guild Favor;
- A player may trade resources on Arrakis (such as Spice) for Guild Favor;
- A player may kill units of the Renegades to attain Guild Favor;
- Some Points of Interest on Arrakis will uncover Guild Favor.
