Tufhir Hawat is a skilled, elderly mentat and the spymaster/master of assassins of House Atreides, and one of the councillors available to players throughout Dune: Spice Wars.
Due to his finesse, he is particularly advantageous in respect of spying on enemies and providing economical advice.

Hawat is one of the councillors available for play and is marked as being akin to those wishing to play an "easy" game of Dune: Spice Wars. Players selecting Hawat as one of their two councillors will gain:
- 20% resource production boost for 2 days when their region is targeted by an operation;
- Agents have 1 additional trait available.
