The Research Center is one of the universal economy buildings available for players to build on their base throughout Dune: Spice Wars. Given its universality, they can be built regardless of the faction players chose when they begin their game.

The Research Center hosts some of the best scientist on Arrakis and throughout the Imperium. Construction of the Research Center gives them the means of researching and making breakthroughs that will serve as Developments further down the line.
