House Vernius of IX are an established house skilled in the art of science and technology; they are the Imperium's primary supplier of cutting-edge technology and one of the factions available for players of Dune: Spice Wars.
House Vernius was added to Dune: Spice Wars in March 2024, and is the seventh faction to appear in the game. House Vernius is available as additional DLC and does not form part of the base game. They are largely considered by players to be the weakest faction in the game, and it is more difficult to achieve victory if playing as this house.

- Earl Rhombur Vernius: Rhombur, marked as a cyborg after surviving an assassination attempt, embodies the house's philosophy and is the leader of House Vernius. Saved by cybernetics, yet at the cost of diminishing humanity.
